IIA Bulgaria International Conference 2013
We are immensely proud to have our first International Conference and host the traditional forum of The European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA) next year.
The International Conferences under the slogan „Internal Audit – the captain’s compass“ will match with the 10-year jubilee from the establishment of the IIA Bulgaria and its recognition as an affiliate of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA).
The conference will be held June 6-7, 2013 in „Melia Grand Hermitage” hotel, Golden Sands Resort, city of Varna.
The International Conference Program will include presentations and plenary sessions that will be led in English with Bulgarian translation. As guest-presenters are invited - Richard Chambers, President and CEO of The IIA and Phil Tarling, Chairman of the Board of The IIA and president of the IIA UK and Ireland, Marie-Hélène Laimay, President of the European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA), Angela Witzany, Debuty chairman of the Board of the ECIIA and President на IIA Austria, Stanko Tokic, Chairman of the Board of the IIA Croatia and other prominent professionals in the sphere of auditing and Top International and Bulgarian Managers. The special plenary sessions are named:
- “Internal Audit in the Public sector – development and issues”;
- “Internal Audit and technology development”;
- “Ethics and fraud under crisis conditions”;
- “The future of the profession”.
The event will be held in kind support and maintenance of some of the biggest international leading companies, operating in the auditing sphere.
We invite you to be part of this forum during which you will:
- find out the latest tendencies in the development of the profession;
- be able to share your experience and knowledge;
- have the opportunity for ideas exchange with the other participants in the Conferences, in an informal environment and near the sea coast.
You will first learn the results from an exclusive research made by IIA Bulgaria on the state of the profession in the country. Following the International Conference hosted by IIA Bulgaria, an Assembly of the Board of the ECIIA will most likely take place in city of Varna.
